Who is 902 Market Advisors for?

We work with founder-led firms — typically $4 million+ in revenue with 8–50 employees — where HR has outgrown what a generalist or part-time function can manage, but doesn't yet warrant a full internal HR department. We also offer starter packages for smaller start-ups. If people problems are quietly limiting growth, that's where we come in.

What's different about working with 902 Market Advisors versus hiring an HR Director internally?

An internal HR Director comes with the cost and liability of a full-time hire, and the judgment of one person. We provide executive-level strategic guidance at a lower cost than an internal hire, with less liability exposure, backed by a full team of HR experts — and as a neutral third party, not someone embedded in your office politics.

Do you do the work, or just advise?

Both, depending on what you need. The core engagement is advisory — we assess, prioritize, and hand you a roadmap your team can execute. If you'd rather we handle execution directly, Accelerate is our add-on for that: documentation, policy builds, systems rollout, done by our team alongside the advisory work. And several of our standalone services — payroll processing, the HR Hotline, handbook creation, training delivery — are done-for-you by design, not just advised on. 

Do you offer multi-state compliance support?

Yes. We regularly build compliance frameworks across multiple states — handbooks, wage and hour policy, leave administration — so your policies hold up in every state your team operates in.

Are you limited in the number of states you work in?

No. We work with clients nationwide, regardless of how many states their workforce is spread across.

Do you work with international companies?

At this time, we focus exclusively on U.S.-based employment practices.

Do you handle payroll?

Yes. We offer full payroll processing with multi-state compliance oversight, wage and hour compliance, and PTO/leave tracking, priced separately from advisory engagements.

Do you conduct workplace investigations?

Yes, for matters based in Washington State. Casey Adams is a Washington-licensed private investigator (PI #25017143), and investigation services are offered within that licensing scope.

Do you provide in-person support?

Generally, no — our advisory work is designed to be delivered remotely. For an important meeting or in-person training delivery, on-site presence can be arranged for an additional cost.
